Luz para vida o tiniebla para muerte

Los verdaderos creyentes de Cristo son como la luz, no esconden sus obras, sus obras son gratas porque todo lo que hacen glorifica a Dios y edifica al prójimo

Los que no creen, ya han sido condenados, pues, como hacían cosas malas, cuando la luz vino al mundo prefirieron la oscuridad a la luz. Todos los que hacen lo malo odian la luz, y no se acercan a ella para que no se descubra lo que están haciendo.  Pero los que viven de acuerdo con la verdad, se acercan a la luz para que se vea que todo lo hacen de acuerdo con la voluntad de Dios. Juan 3:19-21 (DHH)

El creyente que vive obedeciendo a Dios lo refleja en la vida diaria. El creyente que vive en la verdad es testigo de Cristo, porque su modo de vida es un buen testimonio para los que necesitan conocer  la verdad, para los que necesitan conocer a Cristo, ser salvados y transformados con la gracia divina.

Los verdaderos creyentes de Cristo son como la luz, no esconden sus obras, sus obras son gratas porque todo lo que hacen glorifica a Dios y edifica al prójimo. Nuestra verdadera identidad está definida por lo que practicamos tanto en lo secreto como en lo público, porque si en lo secreto practicamos cosas que no queremos que sean públicas, entonces no andamos en la verdad.

Debemos ser siempre trasparentes, no debemos tener una doble vida, si lo que practicamos en lo secreto no queremos que las personan lo conozcan entonces eso está mal y necesitamos verdaderamente ser alumbrados por la luz de Cristo y vivir en la verdad.

La Biblia dice más de cómo deben ser nuestras obras de luz como testimonio de estar en Cristo:

Porque ustedes antes eran oscuridad, pero ahora son luz en el Señor. Vivan como hijos de luz (el fruto de la luz consiste en toda bondad, justicia y verdad) y comprueben lo que agrada al Señor. No tengan nada que ver con las obras infructuosas de la oscuridad, sino más bien denúncienlas,  porque da vergüenza aun mencionar lo que los desobedientes hacen en secreto. Pero todo lo que la luz pone al descubierto se hace visible, 14 porque la luz es lo que hace que todo sea visible. Por eso se dice: «Despiértate, tú que duermes, levántate de entre los muertos, y te alumbrará Cristo». Efesios 5:8-14 (NVI)

 Háganlo todo sin murmuraciones ni discusiones, para que nadie encuentre en ustedes culpa ni falta alguna, y sean hijos de Dios sin mancha en medio de esta gente mala y perversa. Entre ellos brillan ustedes como estrellas en el mundo,  manteniendo firme el mensaje de vida. Así, cuando venga Cristo, yo podré sentirme orgulloso de ustedes, sabiendo que no he corrido ni trabajado en vano. Filipenses 2:14-16 (DHH)

Que Dios te ayude a no tener una vida doble o a evitarla si la tienes, para que no seas condenado/a. Que cada días seas más auténtico/a en Cristo. Hoy es un buen tiempo para iniciar una nueva vida en Cristo, guiados siempre por su luz, para dar testimonio que Él es el Salvador y de esa manera disfrutar  todas las bendiciones de ser hijos de Dios y de andar en sus buenos caminos de luz.
