El creyente que vive obedeciendo a Dios lo refleja en la vida diaria. El creyente que vive en la verdad es testigo de Cristo, porque su modo de vida es un buen testimonio para los que necesitan conocer  la verdad, para los que necesitan conocer a Cristo, ser salvados y transformados con la gracia divina. 

Los verdaderos creyentes de Cristo son como la luz, no esconden sus obras, sus obras son gratas porque todo lo que hacen glorifica a Dios y edifica al prójimo. Nuestra verdadera identidad está definida por lo que practicamos tanto en lo secreto como en lo público, porque si en lo secreto practicamos cosas que no queremos que sean públicas, entonces no andamos en la verdad.

Debemos ser siempre trasparentes, no debemos tener una doble vida, si lo que practicamos en lo secreto no queremos que las personan lo conozcan entonces eso está mal y necesitamos verdaderamente ser alumbrados por la luz de Cristo y vivir en la verdad.
